Principal’s Message
This week the first eucalyptus blossom has flowered, marking a turning point in the season and reminding us that spring will be with us before we know it. It’s lovely to see Mary Ward adorned by that first blossom, to be moved by its beauty and inspired by its reminder to us of Gonzaga Barry’s influence on Loreto education in Australia. The eucalyptus blossom, the name given by Mother Gonzaga Barry to the school magazine, has come to symbolise all it means to be a Loreto girl and how apt it was to have flowered here this week at Loreto Normanhurst on the very day when we announced our newly elected 2019-2020 Student Council.
