Year 11 has been busily working behind the scenes to re-imagine Loreto Day. This year, we are approaching Loreto Day more as “The Festival of Loreto Day” which will include some activities in the lead up to the day and in the week after Loreto Day in our support of our cause this year, ACRATH (Australian Catholic Religious Against Trafficking in Humans).

This year’s Loreto Day Raffle is online. There are some wonderful prizes on offer so please get behind the Year 11 cause of ACRATH. Best of luck to those who purchase tickets and thank you to those parents and staff who have already done so. |

Loreto Day badges |
The Loreto Day badges are appearing on many lapels around the school! There is still time to buy your badge that represents the UN’s Sustainability Development Goals and includes the House colours of the secondary school and boarding school. Loreto Day will be cashless this year so you can purchase your pin via eftpos at student services or through the uniform shop. |

Awareness Raising for ACRATH |
From next week, House Time will include awareness raising for the projects that ACRATH supports. Signage, food, relaxed and social activities on the oval with each Year Group. |
The work of ACRATH
ACRATH works to:
- Eliminate Human Trafficking in Sexual Exploitation and in Forced Labour
- Eliminate Forced Marriage
- Ensure people who have been trafficked have access to their rights
- Promote slavery-free supply chains
How do they do this:
- Raise awareness leading to action
- Action regionally and nationally
- Work for systemic change, locally & globally
- Advocate with government
- Collaborate with counter trafficking networks
