Spring Fair – this weekend
The 2019 Loreto Normanhurst Spring Fair is on this weekend!
With only two sleeps to go, there is definitely a sense of excitement building. There will be so much to see and do – rides, entertainment, retail therapy, delicious food, games, raffles…so make sure you come along for a terrific community day!
Program
Please see the Spring Fair Program here so you can plan your day.
Purchasing advice
Please note there will be EFTPOS machines at various stalls throughout the Fair, but no ATM machine. We recommend also bringing cash, in a variety of smaller denominations, as well as gold coins.
Volunteers – we need you!
The Spring Fair is run by wonderful volunteers from our parent community. The more volunteers we get, the more time we will all get to enjoy the Fair. We particularly need help with:
Saturday set up
Sunday afternoon stalls and pack down shifts
Please sign up to help out for an hour, or two or more… HERE – THANK YOU!
Cake Stall donation drop off
For those donating cakes, please drop off to the Gym after 9.00am on Sunday. We gratefully accept your delicious contributions – thank you!
Uniform donations to support our drought-impacted families
Loreto Normanhurst is dedicated to supporting our boarding community and we seek the generosity of our whole community to donate pre-loved uniforms, including sports uniforms, to the school with proceeds from donated items going to drought-impacted families.
Please drop your pre-loved uniforms to the Development Stand at the Spring Fair.
If you can’t make it to the Spring Fair, please send all items to the Uniform Shop. Please ensure all items are clean and in good pre-loved condition without tears, stains or marks.
We thank our community for their generous support.
Young Farmer Challenge
Cowboys and cowgirls pull on your hats and boots as Loreto Normanhurst launches its very own Young Farmer Challenge at the Spring Fair this year.
It is an event that imagines the practical roughness of living out in the bush paired with the competitiveness of a relay with plenty of impressive prizes up for grabs!
Sign up on the day with your team name and 4 fellow team mates. You will find us opposite the Boarders’ Farmers Market.
Grab a Bale of Hay !
Bales of hay from the Young Farmer Challenge will be available at the end of the Fair – please enquire at the Young Farmer Challenge Stall.
