 CIS Football Cup

Congratulations to the CIS Football Cup team who played their second round of the Cup Tournament this week. The team had a very successful second round, defeating Ravenswood 4-0 and are looking forward to their third round match to be played in the coming weeks. We wish the team all the best of luck for the remainder of the Cup Tournament.

correct sport uniform

An important note regarding correct sport uniform for Saturday competition sport.

Students who are not dressed in the correct uniform for competition will NOT be allowed to play. In the case that a Loreto Sport Staff member is not present, your team coach will have the authority to remove a student from play and/or not allow a student to start play. Thank you in advance for your cooperation in this matter. It is our expectation that you will be appropriately dressed and in uniform while representing Loreto Normanhurst. Please see your sport specific booklets for full details on what uniform is required for your sport.

Current sport/activity: My current sport is Netball.

Favourite school sport/activity: My favourite school sports are sprints, basketball and football (soccer). It’s really fun playing with your school friends.

Highest level of sporting achievement: Making it into State for Little Athletics 100m relay and being selected for the rep netball team – I was selected for the IPSHA schools team.

Best moment of Loreto Sport for you: When I scored two goals in a soccer game.

Favourite sporting moment as a spectator: Watching my sister and her team win the grand finals for Loreto softball this year – it was so exciting.

Best subject at school: The subject that I find most interesting at school would have to be science.

Any superstitions before playing sport: My team and I have a special war-cry we yell before the game as it hypes us up.

Best tune to listen to before competing: Music also hypes me up – I listen to any up-beat music before my games.

We love seeing photos of our girls enjoying sport, but unfortunately we can’t be everywhere at once. If you’re out and about over the weekend at your daughter’s fixtures, please send through any snaps you get to
