Current sport/activity: Athletics

Favourite school sport/activity: I couldn’t pick just one! I love soccer, hockey, touch football and athletics.

Highest level of sporting achievement: In 2015 I was State Champion in the U15 Girls 800m and at the following national titles I came 3rd in Australia again in the 800m. I have also consistently competed at the state and national championships since I was in Year 7.

Best moment of Loreto Sport for you: In 2017, I was part of the Loreto Senior 1st Soccer Team that reached the semi-final of the CIS Knockout competition. We unfortunately lost in a penalty shoot-out but it was a huge achievement for myself and the team, and more specifically a first for Normo which was really exciting!

Favourite sporting moment as a spectator: Watching Sarah Playford, Class of ’17, come 0.3 of a second from beating Pymble Ladies’ College in the Swedish relay at NSW Schools Knockout Competition in 2016.

Best subject at school: PDHPE

Any superstitions before playing sport: I have a nervous habit of touching my toes to stretch my hamstrings all the time before I do any sport and any time I do a crouch start (which is not very often) I always tighten my ponytail. Other than that, I don’t really have any superstitions!

Best tune to listen to before competing: Lose Yourself – Eminem

We love seeing photos of our girls enjoying sport, but unfortunately we can’t be everywhere at once. If you’re out and about over the weekend at your daughter’s fixtures, please send through any snaps you get to
