To our rowers who competed in the Loreto Normanhurst and Loreto Kirribilli Regattas over the weekend. The conditions were extremely tough for our junior small boats at the Loreto Normanhurst Regatta, and continued to worsen resulting in cancelation of the Regatta. Congratulations to all rowers who did race in the morning session. Their skill and ability to remain confident through tough conditions was wonderful to see. The Loreto Kirribilli Regatta saw more favourable conditions for our rowers on the Sunday. Of 28 crews (quads and eights), 21 Loreto Normanhurst crews placed in the top 3. An outstanding achievement which contributed to Loreto Normanhurst winning the overall point score trophy on the day. Congratulations to all rowers on a great start to the rowing season.
Good luck

PARENT SUPPORTER CLOTHING FOR SALE
Supporter t-shirts and soft shell jackets are now available for purchase from the uniform shop. Sport at Loreto Normanhurst would like to encourage all supporters, parents or otherwise, to continue building the wonderful sporting spirit we have at Loreto by purchasing a supporter specific t-shirt or jacket to wear at sporting events and carnivals.
PARENT TEAM MANAGERS
Each sporting team is allocated a coach by the school and has a nominated student captain to assist the coach where possible. However, there are occasions where another set of hands or an adult point of contact is required within a team. With this in mind, the Sport Department extends an invitation to our parent body to consider being a volunteer for your daughter’s team and be appointed as the Parent Manager. For more information, please contact the Head of Sport, Ms Jasmine Palmer.
