Project Futures Cycle Challenge

Project Futures Parent Information Session

Project Futures is an Australian aid organisation founded by Loreto Normanhurst alumni Stephanie Lorenzo in 2009. Project Futures connects people to the issues of human trafficking, slavery and exploitation by creating meaningful immersion experiences that raise funds, educate and empower younger generations to take action on these issues.

The Cambodia Cycle Challenge is a chance to meet with survivors of human trafficking, understand their struggles and see where funds raised are being directed. Since 2012, these cycle experiences have raised over $350,000 which has assisted in transforming the lives of women and children affected by human trafficking, slavery and exploitation in Cambodia. It is also a chance for participants to push themselves and experience the vibrant culture of Cambodia.

Loreto Normanhurst will be supporting this challenge by hosting a Parent Information Evening with information to assist with the decision making process, cover risk management and information about fundraising targets and methods. Parents are invited to attend with your daughter:

Tuesday 12th February 2019
6:30pm
Curran Theatre

Please note, while Loreto Normanhurst supports the work and mission of Project Futures, it is not the organiser of this immersion experience. As such, Project Futures requires any participating student to be accompanied by a nominated responsible adult (18 years or older), such as a parent or older sibling.
