What a busy term it’s been! We are so proud of all the girls have achieved this term. It is wonderful to see the confidence and enthusiasm they display on a daily basis. They have really come together as a community of learners. Thank you to the wonderful Primary teachers for providing such wonderful learning opportunities.
There are many exciting events to look forward to in Term 4. We have provided your daughters with the Term 4 dates so you can mark them on your calendars. We kick off with the Principal’s Spelling Bee Finals which will be held in Week 2. The girls have been given the lists to learn over the holidays.
Happy spelling!
Commendations to the girls who sat the ICAS English competition. This is a significant improvement on last year’s results. Well done girls.

A wonderful training opportunity for all our budding debaters will be taking place at Monte Sant’ Angelo in November. Please click here for more information and to reserve your place.
Just a reminder that when you are dropping off or picking up your daughter, it must be from the Slip Road. The safety of the students is paramount.
In the Primary School
Two of our talented athletes recently took part in the CIS Athletics carnival at Homebush. Zoe Clubb placed 7th in High Jump clearing 1.18m and Charlotte Curran placed 4th in the 800m.
Zoe Lawson from Year 6 competed in the U13 NSW Softball State Championships, winning 5 out of 6 games. Her team, the Hornsby Strikers were crowned NSW State Champions.
The Loreto Primary Dance group recently performed at the Dance Universe eisteddfod and received some very encouraging feedback. Keely O’Sullivan competed at Curtain Call Dance Eisteddfod last weekend and placed 2nd in contemporary, highly commended in tap and 4th in jazz.
Congratulations to all for these wonderful achievements.
