The Primary School Leaders for Semester 1 2019 have been elected and I am delighted to introduce them to you:

Lucy McKenna and Sofia Palermo:

“We are your primary school leaders for Semester 1 2019. A leader to us means looking after the school community and our peers. We will be prepared and ready for anything coming our way and we will always be there for the girls if they need someone to talk to. We are looking forward to receiving our badges at the leadership liturgy and leading assemblies with the House captains.”

Ivy Hain and Emily Paterson:

“We are your Semester 1 2019 Clare House Captains! We are so proud to be leaders of Clare House. As leaders we want to make sure everyone is having fun and trying new things. We will be encouraging to Clare House members and we are so excited to have the loudest cheers and the happiest House ever! We are looking forward to leading assemblies and liturgies with the other leaders this semester.”

Aoife Berry and Christiana Vella:

“We are very proud to be your Semester 1 2019 Dorothea House Captains. As leaders we will cheer everyone on and support Dorothea in every move they take. We want the girls to give things a go and always try their best in everything. We are looking forward to the Athletics Carnival and the Cross Country because we will have the best of the best cheers and give our best shot at doing well. If you have any problems we will be here to help and we are willing to listen to your fantastic ideas!”

Zara Wilson and Grace Drake:

“We are the Benedicta House Captains for Semester 1 2019. We are looking forward to leading Benedicta House through their journey of the first semester at Loreto Primary and helping them to take their first few steps. We will always be there to lead assembly and chapel. We will also help organise the Cross Country, Swimming Carnivals and much more. And as you know, we will always do it with pride. We are happy to have the best House, the happiest House and the House with the best cheers!”

Congratulations to Jemima Foster, Mia Khoudair, Stephanie Wilkins and Emily Paterson who were selected to trail for the IPSHA Basketball team this week. Emily was selected as one of the 10 players to move forward to the CIS tryouts next week. Good luck Emily!
