The Year of Justice
Wow! I cannot believe Term One has come to an end and what a productive term it has been for everyone. There have been so many wonderful community moments including the eagerly anticipated SRC Trivia Night with Year 7 and Year 12 students. This event sparks so much excitement amongst the students and the evening did not disappoint anyone. Angelina Gu, SRC/Communications Captain and the SRC Team did a magnificent job in leading the event. I hope you enjoy reading about the evening from Angelina. Well done to everyone involved on the night and in the lead up preparations.
SRC Trivia Night
The SRC recently held the annual Trivia Night for Year 7 and Year 12. Trivia Night is an event in Term 1 to strengthen the friendships between Year 7 girls and their Year 12 buddies. It was a fantastic evening for all the girls with Year 12 and their Year 7 buddies dressed up in theme. This year’s theme was ‘Awards Show Night’ and the colour and tone of the evening was wonderful to see.
The SRC were hard at work this term in planning the evening, coming up with brilliant ideas for the theme as well as trivia questions. Trivia questions on the night consisted of subjects such as general knowledge, Hollywood, and even guessing baby photos to match our beloved teachers. Both year groups certainly had an amazing evening walking down the red carpet and all outfits for the night were incredible. I hope you enjoy looking at some of the photos collected in this week’s gallery.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the SRC girls for their planning of the event, and in particular Breanna Ivankovic (Year 11 Kendall) and Romy Schneider-Smith (Year 11 Barry) for their roles as joint Masters of Ceremony. They were brilliant. I would also like to thank the Heads of House who assisted throughout the evening, as well as the SRC staff and Mr Madigan for their help in coordinating this year’s Trivia Night. I am sure next year’s event will be just as exciting.
