Loreto Day Raffle Reminder
A friendly reminder that you can still purchase your Loreto Day Raffle tickets online by clicking the following link. There are some great prizes on offer. All the proceeds go to the elimination of FGM (female genital mutilation) in Kenya. With a week to go until Loreto Day, there is still time to purchase your tickets. Also feel free to send this link to your family and friends.
Returning permission slips
Many students are yet to return their permission slips for the Music Festival and for the Secondary School Athletics Carnival. These must be completed, signed and returned next week. Parents will have received both of these permission slips via email. Students can also access and download copies from Sentral, or obtain a hard copy from Student Services.
The importance of attendance and reminders
Attending school is very important and our expectations are that students will attend school everyday in order to maximise their learning and the opportunities available to them at Loreto Normanhurst. Parents are encouraged to make appointments for their child outside of school hours where this is possible. Where this is not possible, parents are required to notify Student Services. The preferred method is via the Parent Portal and ahead of time so that Student Services can register the appointment. Parents are reminded that this is not to occur on the day of the appointment for their child. Below you will find information that outlines the attendance processes and the ways in which parents can notify the school if their child is going to be absent for any reason.
Dropping off items to Student Services
Just a friendly reminder to parents to not drop off items to the school if your daughter forgets something. It is important that the girls are as organised as possible and take responsibility for packing their bags the night before school. Your cooperation is appreciated.
