Parent Association

Louise and I would like to extend a very warm welcome to all our parents and we look forward to getting to know you at the various events that will be on this year. As the Parent Association of Loreto (PAL) Co-Presidents, we’ve already had the pleasure of saying ‘hi’ to our Years 5, 6 and 7 parents at last week’s morning teas, sharing lovely conversation about why you chose Loreto, and speaking to some of you who are returning ex-students, now with your own daughters at Loreto.
The Parent Information Evenings this week for Years 5 & 6, and for Year 11, have also been a great opportunity for us to share details of how PAL promotes a spirit of friendship and cooperation by supporting the aims of the school as well as having fun and raising funds to support various additions to the school that everyone benefits from. We look forward to meeting more of you at the Years 7 – 10 Parent Information Evenings in the coming weeks.
Below are some key event dates where we will have a chance to meet again! Please add these to your calendar and look out for our requests for volunteers to help – which will start coming out next week as we ask for your assistance with Open Day on Saturday 9 March.
As this is our first PAL message of the year, we ask for volunteers to join the wider team as our Year Parent Coordinators. Usually there are two to four volunteers for each year and we run an information session to provide details to those who are interested in filling these roles. If you are interested in becoming a coordinator this year then please send us an email through the PAL email below.
We are looking forward to a very exciting year of events, friendship building, fundraising and enjoyment of being a Loreto parent!
