Spring is almost here, the days are getting longer and already some blossoms are opening. Make sure the functions below are marked in your diary, tickets are booked and get ready for some lovely social events over the remainder of Term 3.
A wonderful time was had by all at the City/Country Mothers’ Weekend away. The Southern Highlands were very cold, but the gorgeous sunshine made up for the temperature as our troupe of Loreto mums descended on this beautiful part of NSW. Over the weekend we enjoyed fine food, lovely wines, a wander through Bowral enjoying the local markets, antique and homewares stores, and lots of laughs, rest and relaxation. Many thanks to Sue Whipps, Louise Wytenburg and their team for organising such a wonderful weekend.
Our Year 9 parents are eagerly awaiting their daughters’ return from FNQ this afternoon and I’m sure they are looking forward to being regaled with the many wonderful stories of the amazing experiences the girls have shared over the past two weeks. It is a fantastic opportunity for the girls and I’m sure it has been a brilliant adventure and so enriching for all involved.
The Father Daughter Dinner and Eucharist is on next weekend – Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 August. Both events are a lovely celebration of the father daughter relationship. There is limited capacity at the Dinner venue, so if you have not booked yet and would like to attend, please do so as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. See booking information below.
If you have any questions about PAL contact us via email – we would love to hear from you!

Father Daughter Dinner to support the school’s Drought Initiatives
We are looking forward to welcoming many of our Loreto Normanhurst dads and their daughters to the Father Daughter Dinner next Saturday 25th August at the Epping Club.
The event is always a wonderful night for our community to come together and celebrate the Father Daughter relationship. This year, we are hoping many more families will come together to join us on for another reason too.
As part of Loreto Normanhurst’s initiatives to support those affected by the drought, all proceeds from the raffle at the Father Daughter Dinner will be directed to the school’s drought-relief efforts, including Rural Aid’s “Buy a Bale” campaign, and to help put together hampers for families in need.
There are still tickets available and can be purchased by clicking HERE . Bookings will close at 9am Monday 20th August.
