Parent Association

It was great to see some of you at our PAL meeting this week. Heads up for Term 4 – our final meeting for the year will be Tuesday 27 November and all are welcome.

Last Friday, whilst their daughters danced the night away, a relaxed evening was had by many at the Year 10 Parent Dinner at the Pennant Hills Golf Club. It was so lovely to see many of our boarder families together with our day families enjoying time together and sharing photos of their daughters all dressed up for their special night.

I’m looking forward to the City Country Mothers’ Weekend Away in the Southern Highlands next weekend. If you haven’t yet registered to go, this is your last chance to join in! Please see the information below  if you would like to come along.

The Father Daughter Dinner and Eucharist is on the weekend of the 25 and 26 August. Both events are always a wonderful way for dads to spend some lovely time with their daughters. The Father Daughter Dinner has limited capacity at the venue, so if you haven’t booked yet, please do so as soon as you can to avoid disappointment.  See booking information below.

If you have any questions about PAL please contact us via email  – we would love to hear from you!

CITY/COUNTRY MOTHERS’ WEEKEND AWAY – LAST CHANCE TO BOOK!
ESCAPE TO THE SOUTHERN HIGHLANDS

When:  10 – 12 August
Where:  Southern Highlands

This is your last chance to book for this weekend away. Activities includes casual drinks and dinner on Friday night followed  by a sleep-in on Saturday. Wandering through Bowral and the surrounding areas to enjoy the local markets, antique and homewares stores.  After a leisurely morning, we will gather for a country pub lunch in nearby Burrawang.  By late afternoon you might want to curl up in front of a fire with a good book for an hour or two or sneak in a nap at your chosen accommodation venue before enjoying a delicious  three course dinner.

After all that activity, a sleep-in is definitely in order again on Sunday (do we have to go back home?) Then there’s the option of a casual brunch/lunch for those interested  at a local vineyard before we farewell the Southern Highlands to meander back to Sydney and the real world … until next time.

Last chance to book !

Contact either   Louise Wytenburg  or Sue Whipps    for more details.
