Another week has flown by! On Wednesday I attended the Loreto Kirribilli Normanhurst morning tea at Kirribilli. It was wonderful to meet mothers from Kirribilli and also to catch up with those from Normanhurst. We had the privilege of meeting and hearing from Stephanie Lorenzo (Class of 2002) who founded Project Futures, as well as Clare Pearson who is the current CEO of Project Futures. The work this organisation does to combat human trafficking in Cambodia is inspirational and worthy of support.
Stephanie is also presenting at Federation this weekend. For those parents who may also be attending, it’s anticipated to be a stimulating and inspirational weekend. There will be a diverse range of topics and a wonderful range of presenters, to both challenge and inspire us on some of the most challenging issues of today. “Be the Change”!
We are seeking Parent Coordinator volunteers. You can be a resource to ‘spread the word’ and encourage attendance across all year groups for PAL events. In addition, Parent Coordinators often organise smaller year group functions which, as well as being fun, play an important role in facilitating connections between you and the parents of your daughters’ friends. If you are interested in being a Year Coordinator, or would like more information, please contact Katrina Leonardi, Secondary School Parent Coordinator or Sally Lee, Primary School Parent Coordinator.
If you have any questions about getting involved with PAL, please email Tracey. Everyone is welcome!

Please note, the Spirituality Evening scheduled for Tuesday 22 May has been cancelled. The next Spirituality Evening will be in Term 3. Further details to come.
