Co-Presidents Message

Welcome back! We hope everyone had the chance to find a little time for relaxation over the past 3 weeks. We are excited about events planned for Terms 3 and 4 as well as starting a dialogue around the Spring Fair that will take place in 2017. More details to follow next week on the Spring Fair Committee that will come together for this wonderful community event in 2017 and the roles that you may be interested in performing as part of this team.  

However, before we start talking about the Spring Fair, let’s refresh your memories this week on some great events taking place across Terms 3 and 4.



Firstly, we would love to see as many parents as possible come along to our General Parent Association (PAL) Meeting for Term 3. This is a great way to hear updates on current news and events associated with the school, directly from Ms Marina Ugonotti, Acting Principal and other members of the Loreto Normanhurst Faculty. Please make a note in your diary. The meeting lasts for approximately 1 hour and for this term there is a change of date. 

Please note: The Parent Association Meeting is now scheduled to take place on Wednesday 27 July at 7:30pm in the Curran Theatre.


City /Country Mothers Weekend Away 2016:  

Stay tuned everyone. The holidays came and went so quickly, so I apologise to our organising team. We will be in touch early next week so we can identify the date and location for our weekend away in consultation with the Development Office. Ideally we will send out a “Save The Date” in next week’s newsletter. If you would like to be involved, please drop Louise or myself a note, we would love to hear from you. If you would simply like to provide us your ideas, but don’t wish to be on the organising team, no problem, please email us (see addressed below) with your thoughts, or feel free to give us a call (Sue mobile; 0401367921).

upcoming function – mission dinner, 19 august, 2016

You will no doubt have seen the PAL invitation despatched earlier this week, inviting you to join us on Friday 19 August for the Mission Dinner, 2016. This is a very special evening where we come together to raise money for the Loreto Mission in Entally, India, a great cause –  SO LET’S ALL GET BEHIND IT!  

Parent Co-Ordinators how about putting a table together for your Year Group. Sporting teams at Loreto, why not see if there are a few parents from your daughter/s sports team that might like to form a table and support a good cause. Primary parents, we hope we will once again see many of you supporting another great Loreto event. Alternatively, if you cannot attend you are welcome to make a donation to this worthy cause,  details are provided in the Trybooking:
