Parent Association

Welcome back to Term 2, we hope all parents and girls had a lovely and relaxing Easter Break.

The PAL Meeting for Term 2 will be held on Wednesday 12th May at 7.30pm. We hope you will be able to join us to hear about the upcoming events and plans for PAL.

Year 12 Mothers’ Weekend

How wonderful it was to gather with the beautiful mothers and carers of Loreto Normanhurst’s graduating Class of 2021. Everyone was exceptionally grateful that we could come together celebrating our daughters’ final year.

With an impressive turn out at dinner on Friday, the Fairmont Resort highlighted cascading cliff imagery with the Blue Mountains as our backdrop. Over 70 mothers and carers then joined together for a long lunch at the Ambermere Inn in Little Hartley, set in a gorgeous country style barn. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful scenery and we were blessed with exceptional weather – what more could we have asked for!

Thank you to Gin Cluff for organising the well-appointed venues together with the rest of the Year 12 2021 Representative team, and to Cathy Stockwell and Sally Oong for organising and finalising the finer details. Thank you to Bec Kingston for a truly wonderful speech on her experience with three, and nearly four, daughters at Loreto Normanhurst.

ALL LANYARDS FROM THE EVENT MUST BE RETURNED TO STUDENT SERVICES.

Hope to see you all again and many more at the next PAL event.

The Year 12 2021 Parent Reps – Gin Cluff, Cathy Stockwell, Sally Oong, Louise Shand and Giannella Merhi

City/Country Mothers’ Weekend Away

Friday 21st – Sunday 23rd May

Wow, what a response to the City/Country Mothers’ Weekend Away!

We are blown away by the reception for this event with the majority of tickets having sold out in a matter of hours. While we have sold the same number of tickets that we have in the past and even increased the number of tickets available, we have never sold out before so thank you for your support of this event.

We know some of you may be disappointed having missed out on tickets to the weekend and so we are doing our best to see if we can allocate some more tickets to accommodate those who missed out.

If you have missed out, please email pal@loretonh.nsw.edu.au or nicsykes2@gmail.com and/or join the waitlist on Trybooking. We will then know to contact you if additional tickets become available.

If you have booked tickets for others who managed to book for themselves or find that you are unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can refund your tickets and give another person the opportunity to attend.

We thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through the options for the weekend.
