Parent Association

It was lovely to meet many new parents as well as catch up with familiar faces at the Welcome Cocktail Party last Friday night.

Open Day is a great day showcasing our wonderful school. Bring your friends, family and anyone thinking about sending their daughter to Loreto, as it is always a lovely community day as well as being a very informative day for prospective parents.

Thank you to those volunteers who have already signed up to assist on the day. There are still volunteer slots that need to be filled. Year groups have been allocated to stalls and time slots so sign up and volunteer alongside parents in your daughter’s year group.

Years 5,6,7,9,10 students will each receive a cake kit (one per family) to make a sweet treat to contribute towards our Cake Stall on Open Day. These  will be distributed to go home with your daughter and for other years interested in participating, spare kits will be available from Student Services. Thanks to Mrs Sally Lee and the Year 7 parents who helped with the cake kit working bee to put these cake packs together.

Year 12 Mothers’ Weekend Away to Orange – Bookings Close Monday 2nd March

Friday 13th – Sunday 15th March

For some, another daughter is entering her last year of school, for others, it’s our first time experiencing the beginning of all ‘the lasts’ with the Year 12 cohort of 2020.  To mark this occasion we have booked a weekend away to share our stories and laugh and reminisce about the very special years we have shared together at Loreto Normanhurst with the Year 12 graduating Class of 2020.   This weekend is open to all Year 12 mum’s and we hope you can join us! Even if you don’t know many  people in your year group,  this is a very inclusive event and we hope you can join us.  If you have any concerns please contact Joanna McDonald via email.

Information regarding the weekend has been sent to Year 12 Mothers but can also be accessed HERE.

To book  for one or more of the events that are happening as part of the weekend, please click HERE. Please book by Monday 2nd March 2020.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out  to  Danielle Pringle, Joanna McDonald or Sim Madigan.
