UN Youth NSW
The United Nations Voice Competition is now open for registration for Year’s 7-10 students. You do not need to be a good public speaker in this competition. It is an opportunity for students to speak their minds about current local and global issues. Any student wishing to participate should register their interest with the following website, and let me know via email. The school encourages students to participate in the rounds that are on Saturdays and not during the school week. Permission must be sought if you wish to register for a round held on a school day.
UN Youth NSW have also just announced the long awaited Junior Leadership weekend. This is a great opportunity for students to learn how to make a difference in their community. It will provide real life skills and strategies, along with a little bit of fun. Suitable for students in Years 7 or 8, this is a weekend event and does include an overnight stay. I encourage you to speak to your daughter and consider registering asap. Please let me know once you register.
For any further information regarding oratory please contact me by email.
