To the Mock Trial team, who won their trial against Brigidine College. The final point score was 300 to 274. Congratulations to Isobel King (Year 11), Chloe Pereira (Year 10), Lily Martin (Year 11), Thea Whittaker (Year 10), Lily Hudson (Year 10) and Annika Shankar (Year 10) who worked tirelessly in preparing for this weeks’ round.
To all students who participated in this week’s Talk for a Minute. It was great to see so many students participating and the LRC was buzzing with the sound of student voices, confidently speaking and sharing ideas. Congratulations to Tamsyn Coetzee (Year 12), Academic Activities Captain for her superb organisation and to all the Academic Activity Leaders for hosting such a wonderful event.
To all students who participated in Interhouse debating. The finals will be held today and results will be published next week. Don’t forget you can follow @LNExtraCurric on Twitter to see live, up-to-date results.
To those student participating in various Evatt Youth NSW events over the next two weeks.
Round 4 will now be held at Loreto Normanhurst instead of St Pius X, Chatswood. CSDA will be aiming for a coin toss at 6:00pm again this week and we will return to our usual meeting space in the DRC. Students are reminded to be there for coaching at 3:30pm
Archdale, Round 2 will be held at Abbotsleigh. Students must return their permission notes by 3:30pm on Monday 27 May.
Students will finish their debates at the following approximate times:
- Years 7 and 8 at 6:30pm
- Years 9-12 will finish at 7:30pm.
The bus should return to Loreto Normanhurst at approximately 8pm.
