The 2017 Music Festival was a wonderful event! It was great to see so many members of our community present at the new International Convention Centre, Sydney Theatre. Standing in the wings with ICC sound techs who were blown away by the talent of our students, I was reminded that not only do we have incredibly talented students, but a school community that encourages and nurtures all levels of talent across a number of curricular.
A number of people worked tirelessly to make this event happen. Ms Watkins mentioned a number of these people on Wednesday night. For those of you who were unable to make it, thanks go to the following:
ICC Staff; Chris Woods, Acting Knowledge and Learning Strategist; Anna-lea Russo, Acting Head of Drama; Angela Morrison, Music Teacher; Casey Scoines, Drama Teacher; Najee Tannous, Visual Arts Teacher; Victor Stitt, English Teacher; Phillip Merchant, Immersions Coordinator; Kim Irik, Head of Music; Helen McIntyre, Music Teacher; Sarah Ashton, Music Teacher; Emma Morgan, Music Teacher; the Music Festival Committee, Marina Ugonotti, Deputy Principal; and Suzanne Graham, Executive Assistant to the Deputy Principal .
Congratulations to all the performers and winners on the night! They were:
