Learning@breakfast & Learning@lunch
Students’ learning is very well supported by their classroom teachers, but there may be times when a little more help is required. Perhaps a student has been absent, or is struggling to understand a concept. Maybe she needs some additional feedback, or help with preparing for an assessment. Some students are simply looking for a hint or two so they can progress with their homework. This year we have combined and extended our successful (and much-loved!) Maths@lunch and English@breakfast programs to give all students better access to the extra support they may need.
Learning@breakfast:
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7.50 am – for support with Maths, English, History/Social Science.
Learning@lunch:
Mondays and Fridays from 1 pm – for support with Maths, English, Visual Arts, Social Science.
- Where? 3.03 – 3.04 GBC
- What? A chance to get support from a team of teachers from various faculties.
- Who? This is available to all students from Years 7 to 12.
- Why? This replaces Maths@lunch and English@breakfast, to give all students excellent access to the support they need, enabling them to take greater responsibility for their own learning.
