HSC examinations commenced this week with the first English paper, completed by all HSC students in NSW. The HSC common module deals with texts and human experiences. This paper examines students’ comprehension and analytical skills, making it challenging in terms of the variety of skills it draws upon. Over the next few weeks there will be a range of papers every day with the final exams concluding on 11 November.
Our students were very composed and focused as they moved into their examination on Thursday morning. The nervous energy on the first day was palpable, however students demonstrated that they were prepared and more than ready to begin the examination process.
Congratulations to all HSC parents – keeping the home front calm and orderly whilst trying to normalise the examination process is a challenging task during this time, but one that our Loreto families are clearly mastering.
Best wishes to all students as they continue their exams.
