HSC Showcase 2020

A combined celebration of creativity and talent

The Loreto Normanhurst HSC Showcase 2020 will be held on Friday 18  September from 5pm-9pm to celebrate our HSC students’ projects across a number of subject areas.

This year, due to COVID-19 restrictions, the event will be delivered to a live audience of Year 12 students and staff, along with virtual exhibitions and performances for parents and students that can be accessed via the comfort of their living rooms!

We are looking forward to sharing the talents of the Class of 2020 with as many members of our community as possible and to delivering this event in this exciting new format.   The showcase will feature displays and performances from Aboriginal Studies, Design and Technology, Drama, English Extension 2, History Extension, Music 1, Music 2, Textiles and Design and Visual Arts.

The HSC Showcase 2020 will be opened by special guest, Loreto Normanhurst graduate Elise McCann (Class of 2002), who is an actress and musical theatre performer.  Elise is a NIDA graduate and has an esteemed career in the dramatic arts, having performed in the musicals Matilda the Musical and Everybody Loves Lucy, to name a few.

We look forward to welcoming our community members to this event, in a variety of formats and modes. We will provide a detailed outline of the program along with further information about the virtual format in the coming weeks.
