Head of House – Kendall

Once a Kendall Girl…Always a Kendall girl.
The colour of Aqua always runs thick through the veins of Kendall Girls. Last term the House farewelled the Class of 2016. There were genuine tears and many well wishes for Logan and the Year 12s from members of the Tutor Group and a moving tribute from the Year 7 Buddies with guardian angel cards. The House also shared time together with a reflection from Year 12 on their moments at Loreto and being a member of their Tutor Group.
The Year 7 and 12 Trivia Night was a very colourful event with Year 12s and their Buddies looking amazing and sharing a wonderful occasion. Year 7 students are so thankful for the guidance and care given to them by Year 12 and we hope that their HSC brings them success and reward for their efforts.
A highly spirited performance at the Athletics Carnival resulted in a 2nd place for Kendall. All day there was much cheering, running, jumping and lots of joy, which is what it should be. In particular Kendall were very strong in the relays, showing great depth for years to come. I was very impressed with our attendance and the commitment the girls showed to this community event.
Late last term we voted for our New House Council and these girls will formally receive their House leadership badges next week in House time. As a House we will congratulate them and we wish them well for the year ahead. These Year 11 girls spent some time setting goals and devising ways to achieve them. As a House Council they will organise many of the events of the House from Light Entertainment to Christmas Hampers and Carnivals.
