What’s Happening

Thank you to all the parents who attended events over the weekend. It was a big weekend on the calendar  and it was great to see so many parents  joining us at multiple events.

The weekend started off with the annual Loreto Normanhurst/Kirribilli Morning Tea,  this year hosted by Kirribilli.  Sr Margaret Sheppard  RSM was  our guest speaker and spoke of her experiences with refugees and encouraged us to  work to change something we are passionate about  and make a difference.

Thank you to the Parent Association and the Year 7 Parents led by Kerri Barr for their work on the Year 12  Cocktail. The night is the  first of the lasts for Year 12 parents and a great way for Year 7 Parents to meet each other and be introduced to the Loreto Normanhurst Community.

Thank you to those who joined us for the beautiful celebration of mothers and daughters at our Mother Daughter Eucharist in the Chapel on Sunday. Kirsty and Grace Reid (Year 11)  did a beautiful reflection on their mother and daughter relationship.

On Monday morning, we welcomed our current parents who are ex-students  to a morning tea  with their daughters. It is a great morning to catch up with old friends, make new ones and reminisce about  their  school days. Thank you to Janneke Chudleigh, President of the Ex-Students’ Association for attending the morning tea.

Tomorrow night is a highlight of the calendar with the Parent Association’s L&N Trivia Night! We hope you have got your outfits ready, your wallets at the ready and your thinking cap on for a great night of trivia  and fun!  Tickets are still available so its not too late to come along – book tickets HERE. Thank you to all those who donated to the silent auction and the  gift baskets.

Look forward to seeing you all tomorrow night!
