Development News and Events

With the late start to spring weather it’s hard to believe it’s November already, but the Christmas decorations are in the shops  signalling that summer and holidays will soon be upon us.

On Wednesday 14 November, the Women of Influence evening will be held in the Curran Theatre. It will be a wonderful event and we encourage you to join us for an evening of inspiration as we share in the stories of four prominent Loreto Normanhurst ex-students to gain an insight into how they established their successful careers.  We look forward to seeing many parents, students, ex-students and friends there.   See the invitation here.

Many of our families have Year 10 girls undergoing their last exams for the year and we wish them every success. Next Friday , the Primary  School will have their 2019 Orientation Day which is a great day to welcome our youngest incoming 2019 students and familiarise them with our school for the start of their Loreto journey next year.

A reminder that on 27 November,  the Parent Association will be having their AGM and voting for the 2019 committee will be taking place. Everyone is welcome and perhaps you’d like to get involved next year? It is going to be  a big one with the Spring Fair in November 2019, and all help would be very much appreciated.

Additionally, the Ex-Students’ Association AGM will be held on Sunday 2 December. Details about voting for both events will be forwarded shortly.

Even though the end of Term 4 is only five weeks away, there’s still lots of activity and events to get involved in. Please see details below.

If you wish to get involved in PAL,   or if you have any questions, Tracey Hartshorne & Rob Critchlow (Co-Presidents) would love to hear from you! Please   contact PAL via email .
