In November last year we announced via the newsletter that aspects of our Green Travel Plan (GTP) would be piloted as part of the School’s traffic management plan and the ongoing work for Stage 1 of the Master Plan.
We are excited to share that as part of our commitment to a sustainable future a number of pilot initiatives have been progressed or implemented since the start of the school year including carpooling, with ‘Car Share Only’ parking for staff now available, and encouraging the use of public transport and of course, walking and cycling. A comprehensive Travel Access Guide has been developed with information about the different ways to get to Loreto Normanhurst. Click here to view the Travel Access Guide.
From Monday 15 March, a Loreto Normanhurst Metro Shuttle bus service will commence and travel between the School and Cherrybrook Metro Train Station. The service will run at the following times:
- 7:00am and 7:45am (with the last shuttle departing from Cherrybrook Metro at 7:45am)
- 3:35pm, 4:20pm, and 5:10pm (with the last shuttle departing from the School at 5:10pm)
