Presentation for Parents & Carers of Learner Drivers – 18 Feb 2016
As you may be aware, P-plate drivers are involved in more crashes than any other driving group (including Learner drivers). Parents play a key role in guiding and promoting safe driving habits.
Hornsby Shire Council in conjunction with the Roads & Maritime Service (RMS) deliver four presentations each year for parents & carers of learner drivers in Hornsby. The next presentation will be held on the evening of Thursday 18 February 2016 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.
This presentation offers practical advice and information to parents/carers and supervising drivers on how to help Learner drivers become safer drivers. The presentation will provide information about:
- Understanding the Graduated Licensing Scheme and the current laws of L and P licence holders.
- Completing the Learner driver log book.
- Understanding the benefits of supervised on-road driving experience.
- Supervising Learner drivers.
- Young Driver Issues.
- The Safer Drivers Course.
- Useful tips to help both Learner and Supervising driver.
Places to this presentation are strictly limited due to space and it is free to attend. If you have any questions regarding this please contact me via phone on 9847 6856 or email email@example.com.
