Hornsby Shire Council together with Ku-ring-gai, North Sydney, Lane Cove, Mosman, Northern Beaches, Ryde and Willoughby Councils, in partnership with the Roads & Maritime Services (RMS) are working to make pedestrians more aware of the dangers of distraction while using mobile devices when out and about.

Stepping Stones Triple P seminars are for groups of parents. It’s an informal presentation, a little like a public forum. There are three seminars in the Stepping Stones Triple P series: Positive Parenting for Children with a Disability; Helping Your Child Reach Their Potential; and Changing Problem Behaviour into Positive Behaviour.

Seminars coming up in Wahroonga  starting this Saturday  29 April 2017  run by Natalie Montgomery at St Lucy’s School,  21 Cleveland Street, Wahroonga.

If you would like to sign up for the seminar or learn more about it, please contact the NSW Research Team or give us a call on (02) 9114 4060. We may also have one-on-one parenting programs available in your area.

Ignatian Camino (SPAIN)

The Cardoner Project is excited to announce that we will be offering an Ignatian Camino through Northern Spain from 30 August  – 16 September  2017.

The Camino is a pilgrimage that is based on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius and follows his footsteps from Loyola to Barcelona.  It is for adults interested in exploring their faith, deepening their spirituality and enjoying some time for silence and personal reflection. Fr Josep SJ of the Spanish province and Brother Ian Cribb SJ of the Australian province will accompany and guide the pilgrimage.

Our group will be limited to 10 people with all pilgrims having access to a Jesuit spiritual director and the opportunity for daily Mass, examen and group reflection. The pilgrimage involves a maximum walking distance of 25km a day, however, there are components of the trip that involve bus transport in order to ensure we can cover the distances in a shorter period of time.

Price  with flights $6995

Price without flights $4995.

If you are interested in being part of this pilgrimage please email  Sue Bennett  or phone 0405374371.
