Year 12 important dates and deadlines

UAC have created a  checklist to guide Year 12 students through the process of applying through UAC. Students are encouraged to take this checklist home, so parents are also aware of key information about admissions.

Students requiring the school to complete the Educational Impact Statement (EIS) should hand in a copy of their statement to Ms Kieryn Bateman, Director of Learning, by Tuesday 11 September.

The Careers Office is open to all students. We are available in the office, located in the LRC, before and after school, and at recess and lunch. Girls are most welcome to drop in but at times we can be busy with students, so the best thing to do is to send an email indicating your availability or drop in with your diary to schedule a time.

Please email   the Careers Team.

National Skills Week – delivering pathways to careers

This week is National Skills Week. It is designed to break down barriers to VET courses – people tend to think that these courses and apprenticeships are really limited, but VET can provide entrance into most industries and careers, from trades, architecture, engineering and office work, to retail, hospitality and technology.

VET is designed to provide you with the specific skills, knowledge and workplace experience to help you pursue a career within a defined industry. If you have a specific career in mind, you’d like to start earning straight away, or maybe you just don’t fancy going to university, then you might want to consider a VET course or an apprenticeship.
“The fact is that VET qualifications lead to successful, meaningful, professional careers with great salaries and outstanding careers prospects.”
