Parents and students from all year groups are welcome.

Job Jump is a careers resource tool available to all Loreto Normanhurst students and their parents.
If you would like to join, simply follow the directions below.
When you begin on Job Jump you will need to select I’m New.
STEP 1 Enter into the first white box the first few letters of Loreto Normanhurst. Click on the full name of the school when it appears.
STEP 2 In the second white box, enter your email address and then click the Login button.
STEP 3 A new screen will appear which asks you to type in lower case your school’s password: lnh
There are a few more quick questions and then you are underway. You can enter as many careers as you like and can change them at any time.
Using the MY ATAR feature can help to quickly sort out relevant courses, institutions and the mark required. Each listed course has links to specific information.

The Careers Office is open to all students. We are available in the office, located in the LRC, before and after school, and at recess and lunch. Girls are most welcome to drop in but at times we can be busy with students, so the best thing to do is to send an email indicating your availability or drop in with your diary to schedule a time.

Macquarie in a Day
Tuesday 17 and Wednesday 18 April – 8.30am – 3.15pm
Macquarie University are opening their doors to Year 11 and 12 students on Tuesday 17 April and Wednesday 18 April (attend one day only). Students will have the chance to experience what a day in the life of a Macquarie student is really like.
Lunch and some freebies are provided.

ADF Gap Year 2019 applications now open
ADF Gap Year applications for 2019 have opened. It’s a unique opportunity for students to try out a career in Navy, Army or Air Force and get a feel for a military life without committing for a longer period.
University of Notre Dame Personal 30 Minute Advice Sessions
One of the best ways to learn about Notre Dame is to visit. Their free personal advice sessions allow students to get their questions answered by expert course advisors at a convenient time. Sessions are currently available until the end of May and will be added progressively throughout the year.
Available each half hour between 8:30am – 4:30pm Monday to Friday.

Macleay Career Taster Days and Info Sessions
The Career Taster Day will give an experiential snapshot of the career you are considering pursuing, whether that be as a content creator, digital designer, sports publicist, digital journalist or an entrepreneur.
It’s a free event and lunch is provided; however, places are limited so secure your spot today.

APPLY IN YEAR 12 – Serious about your career and keen to get ahead? Ambitious and hungry for real work experience now? Become a cadet and combine your degree with real work experience to make a serious start to your career.
By becoming a cadet, you will be extending the length of your overall degree by at least one year to accommodate working full-time and studying part-time. However, this will vary depending on single degree, double degree (Brisbane only) and when you start your Cadet Program.
The Cadet Program is currently offered in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
