Would you like to make an appointment with a careers advisor?

The Careers team  at Loreto Normanhurst can help in many ways including: subject selection, work experience, writing resumes, gap year options, part time work and post school pathways.

The Careers Office is open to all students. We are available in the office, located in the LRC, before and after school, and at recess and lunch. Girls are most welcome to drop in but at times we can be busy with students, so the best thing to do is to send an email indicating your availability or drop in with your diary to schedule a time.

Sydney Gap Year Information Evening

Ashlee Franklin, Programme Manager with Letz Live & Tutors Worldwide, will be in Sydney holding an information evening on Wednesday 7 March at Trinity Grammar School for all students and parents in the area.

Please see the attached flyer with the event details.

Letz Live/Tutors Worldwide applications for 2019 will close on Monday 9 April so this is a good chance for students to go along to find out more about the programmes they offer.

Please register your attendance via this link.

Please note: The UKVI (the boarder agency) has unexpectedly changed its interpretation of certain regulations governing access to the UK. Currently a UK gap year experience isn’t possible for those under 18 on the date of travel (early January 2019) unless they have UK ancestry (blood grandparent or closer born in the UK) or hold a EU/UK passport. If students do not have access to an ancestral visa or a EU/UK passport, all is certainly not lost for the younger applicants, as Letz Live/Tutors Worldwide have procured a good number of gap placements in Thailand (for both 6 and 12 months) and these are open from 17 years of age.
