Year 10: A Year of Decisions

In Year 10 the process of deciding what subjects to study in senior years began this week with students completing the Morrisby Careers Quiz.  While there are many options and pathways to university and post-school studies, choosing the right courses at school can make it a little easier to enter and succeed at tertiary study.

Year 10 is a good time to start thinking about the future – not just what you’d like to do for the next two years, but what you’d like to do beyond Loreto Normanhurst.  Are you thinking of further study? Will you have a gap year, get a job or do an apprenticeship?

While deciding on subjects can be difficult, be assured that there is much support, guidance and conversation happening at school to ensure that a well informed and sound decision is made based on strengths, ability and interest.

Students are most welcome to book a time to speak to a Careers Advisor – we welcome all girls in all years.

Students are welcome to drop in with their diaries to book a meeting or send an email indicating their availability.  We are open before and after school and during lunch time.  Email us at
