This event is for all students (with their parents) who are wondering what they might like to do, study and be when they finish school.

There are a few more quick questions and then you are underway. You can enter as many careers as you like and can change them at any time.

We welcome all students from all year groups.
Anyone can make an appointment with a careers advisor. We are usually in the office – located in the LRC – before and after school and at recess and lunch. Students are most welcome to drop in but at times we can be busy, so the best thing to do is to send an email indicating your availability or drop in with your diary to schedule a time.

Chemical engineering work experience |

Spend your Year 10 Work Experience week exploring life as a chemical engineer. We team up students with a PhD candidate or an expert academic to work on a real-world chemical engineering project. If you’re interested pop into the careers office to discuss. |

UNSW Engineering: Through engineers’ eyes: engineering mechanics by experiment, analysis and design |
9:00am Monday 24 April |
This free online course will provide information on the techniques of engineering mechanics as well as use the theory to interpret experiments and apply them to design. The course consists of four hour sessions over a seven-week period. |

UMAT 2017 Registrations close 2nd June |

UMAT 2017 Registrations UMAT is a test that is used specifically to assist with the selection of students into the medicine, dentistry and health science degree programs at undergraduate level at the universities listed on the website. |

ANU: Tuckwell Scholarship |
Applications open Monday 6 March 2017 for 2018 |
The scholarship provides financial support for a range of degrees, both single and combined undergraduate degrees. There is also travel allowance to help move to Canberra, inclusive of returning home during the duration of the degree and an ANU sports centre membership. |

The day offers students a chance to choose which classes they are interested in attending, experience practical sessions and tutorials, and ask staff and students about university life. |

Professional Cadetships |
Applications for the Engineering & Technology Cadetships (ETCAD) Program open on 26 April and close on the 16th June. |
Applications for the Business Cadetships Program run by Professional Cadetships Australia close on 10 May. Year 12 students apply online at for cadetship placement at UBS. Students who intend to apply are reminded that both their Application Form and School Assessment are due on 10 May, so it is advisable to speak to your Careers Adviser well in advance about your School Assessment. |
