There is a Careers Website for parents and their daughters!

As a Loreto Normanhurst parent you have access to ‘Job Jump’. 

Job Jump is a Careers Exploration and information website, featuring 1000’s of careers, ATAR and course information, subject selection, BOSTES information and much much more.


When you begin on Job Jump you will need to select I’M NEW.


STEP 1  

Enter into the first white box the first few letters of Loreto Normanhurst.  Click on the full name of the school when it appears.

STEP 2  

In the second white box , enter your email address and then click the Login button.

STEP 3  

A new screen will appear which asks you to type in lower case your school’s password: lnh


There are a few more quick questions and then you are underway.  You can enter as many careers as you like and can change them at any time.

Using the MY ATAR feature can help to quickly sort out relevant courses, institutions and the mark required.  Each listed course has links to specific information.

All Open Day information is listed via the MY COURSE   feature.

Years 7 – 10

The Scientia Challenge Program is designed for gifted and talented high school students in Years 7-10. The program features a range of workshops taught over three days. The courses are developed and presented by academics at the University of New South Wales.

Qantas Indigenous Careers Program: School Based Traineeship


Qantas is seeking applications from current year 10 Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander students who are interested in a School-Based Traineeship with Qantas. The Traineeships provide an opportunity to kick-start a career in aviation by learning on-the-job skills and operations. Successful applicants will be working one day per week while completing a nationally recognised qualification.

Green Army Programme


The programme provides opportunities for young Australians aged 17-24 years to gain training and experience in environmental and heritage conservation fields, while participating in projects that generate benefits for the environment. Green Army teams of 10 (up to nine participants and one team supervisor) are deployed to projects lasting 20-26 weeks across Australia to help communities deliver local conservation outcomes.
