Careers Online Resources
The Loreto Normanhurst Careers team has curated three complementary resources to ensure our students are up to date with ‘all-things’ Careers. These are free for all parents and students to access. It is easy to register and allows access to all their resources individually here at school or at home. Remember, the school codes are unique to our school, so please ensure that wherever possible you keep this code within our school community.
- ‘The Career Department’- login page. School login: Loreto Normanhurst and password: LNH
- ‘Canvas page’ – No login is required – this should be automatically generated for all students. If you cannot access this, please contact the ICT team.
We welcome all students in all year groups.
The Careers team (Ms Katrina Smith and Ms Alexi Kayes) can help in many ways including: subject selection, work experience, writing resumes, gap year options, part time work and post school pathways.
The Careers office is open to all students. Girls are most welcome to drop in but at times we can be busy with students, so the best thing to do is to send an email indicating your availability (study lessons for the seniors and break times for junior girls) or drop in with your diary to schedule a time.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org

The Fair Work Ombudsman has some great resources for young people and students who are starting a new job. These resources can help you prepare by knowing your rights, being ready for your first day, learning about issues that can arise, myths on unpaid work, and much more.
If you already have a job and are feeling like something isn’t right, these resources can help as well. You can also check out their Record My Hours app to make it easy to keep track of your hours worked and other important information.
