For Year 12 students who wish to enter the business world, why wait until you finish university to start your career? Apply for a cadetship under the Business Cadetships Program.
Business Cadets combine study at the university of their choice with paid work at UBS in Sydney, a top-ranking global bank. Cadets may choose from a wide range of degrees, including economics, commerce, the humanities, mathematics and computer science & technology. Under the Business Cadetships Program, UBS will continue to place cadets across the firm. In addition, as part of the Program, the bank intends placing cadets in UBS Group Technology.

Charactered Accountants – Save the Date
Career Kickstarter is back for 2019. This is a great opportunity for year 12 and first year university students with an interest in Accounting, Business and Finance to meet and connect with employers. The event will consist of two timed sessions. The first session predominantly caters to year 12 students and the second to first year university students, however students are able to attend which event best suits their schedule.

This camp is focused on forging a connection between Oorala and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander high school students from years 11 – 12. Cyber Security Bootcamps
Cyber Security roles are on the rise, in 2018 jobs surged by 173%, leaving Australia with only 7% of the cyber security talent it needs. If growth potential and job stability are what you’re looking for your in a future career, you should consider cyber security. Coder Academy are running a 10 month immersive bootcamp, with an optional 4 week internship. You’ll learn:

Successful completion earn you a higher education Diploma of Information Technology by the Academy of Information Technology.
Eligibility:
- All applicants must be aged 18 and above; and
- Successful completion of Australian Year 12 or equivalent; and
- Successful in-person or online interview with an Admissions Officer, where applicants are encouraged to prepare a portfolio for consideration;
- Alternative entry may be available in certain circumstances (e.g. where applicants have completed relevant work experience/qualification prior to entry);
- Applicants may be required to undergo an Admissions Test prior to entry
and satisfy TWO of the following:
- achieved a grade of not less than 70% in at least one STEM subject in Year 12 (or equivalent); and/or
- demonstrated interest in coding and cyber security
- successful completion of a problem solving test
