Careers appointments

The Careers Office is open Wednesday – Friday

Year 11 are encouraged to make an appointment prior to the end of term to make use of a number of tools and resources that can help with initial research and career pondering. Careers can offer students assistance with: 

  • Subject selection and/or changes
  • Post school options including courses available at university, college and TAFE
  • Work experience
  • Resume writing
  • Job interviewing skills
  • Gap Year options and applications
  • Finding part time work
  • Scholarships and cadetships

The Careers Office is open to all students before and after school and at recess and lunch. Girls are most welcome to drop in or send an email indicating your availability or drop in with your diary to schedule a time.

2019 Rural Nursing & Midwifery Undergraduate Scholarships

Scholarships of up to $5,000 are available for people from rural NSW who are undertaking first year studies of a Bachelor of Nursing or Bachelor of Midwifery degree in 2019.

For the purposes of these scholarships, rural NSW is defined by the following boundaries: Berry, Maitland and Lithgow.

The awarding of scholarships is a competitive process, since the number awarded is subject to funds being available. Preference will be given to applicants living in locations with the greatest workforce needs, which may change from year to year.
