Parent Association

Wow – Week 5 has finished already and  we are now halfway through Term 1 ! It’s been a great start to the year and we hope all our new families have settled into the school community.

On   Wednesday evening  we had  our first PAL meeting for the year and it was  good to see some new faces. The year is ahead is planned and there are many opportunities for the parent community to get together and enjoy being part of the Loreto Normanhurst family.

We are looking forward to Open Day on Saturday 10 March, followed closely by the annual City/Country Mothers’ Lunch and the Music Festival.

Open Day Volunteers

Please think about volunteering on the day.  This is a great event where volunteers enjoy the day, chatting with the wider community and catching up with old and new friends from our Loreto parent community.

A big thank you to our Cake Kit volunteers. The Cake Kits will be sent home to each family next week – what a great opportunity to show off your ‘Master Chef’ skills!

This week we are once more calling for volunteers to help on two of the PAL stalls: Cake Stall and BBQ. Hourly spots for volunteers across the day can be booked through the TryBooking website, use the links here:

City/Country Mothers’ Lunch – save the date

This year the City/Country Mothers’ Lunch is on Wednesday 28 March, and will be held on Level 3 of the Gonzaga Barry Centre.   We look forward to our city and country mothers joining us in a friendly environment to enjoy a lovely lunch and share some stories and laughs.

This is a good time to start planning a table with friends or parents from your year group.  If you don’t know anybody who is coming we will place you on a table. Having the city and country mums come together is a very special part of our school.  Invitations will be sent out soon – book quickly as spaces are limited.

Until next time .
