Parent Association

PAL Meeting

A reminder that our PAL Meeting is on Wednesday 28th February, in the Curran Theatre at 7:30pm. All are welcome to attend  to hear what is planned for the year ahead.

 Information Evening and Cocktail Party

Last Friday was the  Parent Information  Evening and whole school Parent Cocktail  Party. It was  lovely to see so many parents attend this night and we look forward to meeting more of you at various events as the year unfolds.

 Thanks for your “Sweet” Help

Thank you to all the volunteers who are helping Kate Brown and Anna Boldiston to prepare the  “Cake Stall Kits” on Friday 2 March. The kits will be sent home to each  Day family (via the eldest daughter)  in preparation for our Cake Stall  on Open Day.   Click here for further information.

The Cake  Stall is truly an amazing sight  as a result of the families who contribute baked goods , with all money raised contributing to our PAL fundraising efforts for 2018. In this way, we are all making a contribution in time, skill and funds.  The ‘sold out’ status that is achieved every year on Open Day is a tribute to the value placed by all on home baked goodies and no doubt reflects the very talented chefs we have in  our midst! There’s a nice saying which goes “Cooking is Love  Made Visible”.   Thank you for your contribution – share the love on Open Day !

Open Day Volunteers

This week we are calling more broadly for volunteers to help on two of the PAL  stalls on Open Day – the Cake stall and BBQ.   Come along to say hello and mingle with prospective new families to our school. This is a great community event where volunteers have a fun day, chatting and catching up with old and new friends from our Loreto Parent Community. Hope to see you there during the day!

Hourly spots for volunteers are needed –   please email Tracey.

Until next time – get those thinking chef hats on for  the Great Bake Off!
