Co-Presidents’ Message

It is hard to believe that the HSC is now over and we are entering into the last four weeks of the 2017 school year. Where has the time gone? We hope all the mums are looking forward to our weekend away in a few weeks’ time. Don’t forget to jump online and finalise your booking and payments prior to the 17th November.

 

TUITION FEE RAFFLE 2017

We are delighted to announce that we will once again be running our PAL sponsored tuition fee raffle to close out 2017. This is a limited ticket raffle with only 300 tickets to be sold at a price of $100.00 per ticket. There will be one prize winner only. The winner will receive a $15,000.00 credit on their school tuition fee charges for the 2018 school year.

There are specific terms and conditions associated with this special raffle and these will be sent out to all families during next week. Please keep your eye out for the email. The raffle will be launched at 9.00am on Monday 20th November 2017 with tickets available for sale until Friday 1st December 2017 unless sold out prior.

 

PARENT ASSOCIATION:  ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING AND ELECTION OF EXECUTIVE TEAM

22 November 2017 at 7:30 pm

On Wednesday 22 November we will hold our Annual General Meeting in the Curran Theatre at 7:30pm. Several of the Executive Team are standing down from our positions and we are excited by the opportunity this presents for new and/or existing parents to “jump in” and get involved to continue the work of the Parent Association.  

If you are interested in getting involved, please feel free to ring Louise or I for a chat.  Alternatively, we would welcome your  nomination for any of the Executive roles.

YEAR 8 COCKTAIL PARTY – event postponed

Dear Year 8 parents,

 We have decided, due to the busy time of year, that we will postpone the cocktail party planned for this evening and reschedule to early Term One next year, which seems to be a more suitable time for many families.

 We wish you all a wonderful Christmas and safe and relaxing holidays.

BARGAIN BUS SHOPPING TOUR

The Loreto Normanhurst Ex-students’ Association invite you to join their Bargain Bus Shopping Tour on Saturday 25 November 2017, departing at 8am from Loreto Normanhurst Station (bus stop on the west side).  The tour offers VIP entry to factory outlets and warehouses, including fashion, footwear, Christmas items, homewares, jewellery, handbags and more!
