Parent Association

Co-Presidents’ Message

What a difference a week makes as all families begin to settle back into old and new school routines.  Don’t forget to mark relevant dates and times into your diaries from the trusty school calendar that should have arrived by mail for significant events taking place across this year.

Volunteering at Loreto Normanhurst:  Jump In – Have Some Fun!

Spring Fair 22nd October 2017 – Why consider volunteering?

  • You might be a new parent to the school and this is a great way to get to know a range of parents across Years 5 – 12.
  • You might be an existing parent at the school and can draw on past experience of spring fairs to fulfil the role requirements and help build on past successes.
  • You might currently hold a paid position in this field and could leverage your professional knowledge and expertise to fulfil the role whilst helping the school community.
  • You might currently be studying in this or a related  field and practical experience could be invaluable for your education and look pretty good on the resume too!
  • You might feel more comfortable putting your hand up as a team of two – two heads often are better than one in these roles.
  • You might like helping and having fun with other parents and friends at the school.

We would welcome your involvement, recognising you will be part of a broader Spring Fair team, who will help and work with you and many additional volunteers in preparing for the event. We will also have access to previous years planning documentation/run sheets to understand what jobs are required and when they should be done.

Please get in touch if you would consider one of the following committee roles that are currently vacant.  We will also send out a flyer to all families in the next week to finalise these positions.  ALL ARE WELCOME across Years 5 – 12.

Drop us a note if you would like to be part of the Spring Fair team:  Sue Whipps   or     Mal Foubister.
