High Tea with Susannah Fullerton

Save the date!

Parents, students, staff and friends of Loreto Normanhurst are cordially invited to a High Tea and  talk by classics expert, literary historian and author, Susannah Fullerton OAM.

Susannah’s talk is titled  “Narratives that shape our world” and will be of interest to readers of the classics as well as those taking part in the Loreto Reading Challenge!

When: Tuesday 19 June 2018
Time: 4.30pm for 5pm start
Where: Learning Resource Centre, Loreto Normanhurst

Join us for tea and sandwiches from 4:30pm onwards. Susannah’s talk will commence at 5pm and will conclude at 6pm. This is a free event though a link to register your attendance for catering purposes will be available soon.

Students in the junior years or in the new Reading to Write program in Year 11 English, may find some of the titles covered of particular interest to their studies such as Frankenstein, Wuthering Heights, Alice in Wonderland, Jane Eyre and Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.

We are also delighted to be showcasing the work of our Year 8 Visual Arts students unit on Tea Parties.
