Careers at Loreto Normanhurst

In 2016 the Careers Office will be open every day.  Mrs Donnan will be in the office on the following days: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Ms Smith will be in on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Mrs Hallinan assists with the senior students studying an OTEN and/or TVET subjects. Students wishing to make an appointment can either simply pop in with their diary or email the careers department with their timetable and a suitable time can be scheduled.

The Job Jump Website is a great tool for Parents and Students

Last year students in Year’s 9, 10 and 11 were emailed details for registering for a Careers Website – Job Jump. This website has valuable information on a range of careers and allows students and parents to have the careers news they wish sent to them directly. As a parent of Loreto Normanhurst you are welcome to use this valuable tool.

AN INVITATION TO ATTEND THE AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY (ANU) SCHOLARSHIP ROADSHOW

ANU are delighted to invite students and their parents to the national ANU Scholarship Roadshow, touring February and March 2016, where you can learn about the Tuckwell Scholarship program and the opportunities that applying for the scholarship can open up.

Hear from uniquely qualified individuals from ANU including Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) Professor Marnie Hughes-Warrington, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Student Experience) Professor Richard Baker, and our current Tuckwell Scholars.
