Bell Shakespeare Artist in Residence Program
‘Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn, and caldron bubble’.
Following six years of successful collaboration with the Bell Shakespeare company we are once again delighted to provide the opportunity for our Year 10 Drama students to immerse themselves in the world, words and wonder of Shakespeare.
Next week both Year 10 classes will participate in the Bell Shakespeare Artist in Residence Program under the direction of Christopher Tomkinson. Mr Tomkinson will run a week long program of workshops which will allow them to delve into the dark and mysterious world of Macbeth whilst honing their performance skills and working as an ensemble to create their very own unique version of the famous ‘Scottish play’.
Please join us on Friday the 9th of February at 6pm in the main quad for a 45-minute reworking of one of Shakespeare’s most powerful tragedies.
